I could not be happier. Chrissy is an amazing Lady and so beautiful in every way with a passion and heart of gold. I could not be more blessed.
Many thanks to everyone who has been SOOOOOO nice! The outpouring of well wishes has been truly appreciated. Lots of great people out there, it's just not widely reported. (Spinal Tap reference. LOL)

Recorded on my KX88 / Roland JV1080. This composition is in 3 parts, each one has a different mastering tecknique. Loads of fun to produce and play. Most of the footage was shot at Smith Mountan Lake as well as Marshview park in Virginia Beach and Oak Grove Lake in Chesapeake. The drone was a Mavic mini 3 shot at 24fps. Other cameras in the studio were Cannon 6D m2 and 200D.

Nice piano playing and it's a cool journey while seeing the keyboard in action and while the nature drone footage takes us through this one. the effects are a bit hot in the mix and clashing some but over all a beautiful sound. nice one Jim!

Cheers Jim. Nice pictures in Virginia with the drone there. It's a lovely piece but I definitely felt a little too much was mixed in the together with the pianos and sounded a little frenetic at times. A little be more space might have taken us on the journey a wee bit more calmly. The outro was very beautiful and an overall cool listen. You are a very talented musician and I always enjoy listening in.
I have been a hugh Lyle Mays fan all of my adult life. This composition is not meant to sound like him, but to honor him.
September 15th was always a fav of mine from Metheny / Mays. Loved how their tribute to Bill Evans, was nothing that really sounded like Bill Evans. It was a tribute from them in their own style. So, one day it clicked, I should try and do the same for Lyle. I am that big a fan.
Should you not be aware of Lyle Mays, check out his 30yr colaboration and writing parter with Pat Metheny or any of Lyles solo works. RIP Lyle Mays.
Anyway, like it or not, here it is my tribute.. Was an enjoyable 4 months of composing, and finally recording..
Gear: Yamaha KX88, Roland JV1080 Synth Module, M Track, edited in Adobe Audition and Premier Pro.

That's a tour de force of playing Jim. Excellent technique, lots of mood shifts, great mix of melody and rhythm, and very dynamic while remaining so precise!
If you have a YouTube version I'd like to nominate you for our @SharedSecrets playlists.

Fabulous. Great technique and dynamic range. What piano voice is it? Master keyboard running through a PC? Sounds metallic as opposed to woody. Sounds nice
Rami Laine * Helsinki
Amazing skills, loved the lower velocity notes and the ending, not necessarily that much the louder parts. But I could really just look at that playing. Very nice!
