Downtown Hampton Boat Show 2008

With last minute change of plans, Jim Baugh Outdoors was fortunate enough to attend the 2008 Downtown Hampton In Water Boat Show this Saturday. The weather turned out great, and there was a fantastic turn out of boats. A new deeper V Carolina Skiff really caught my eye, paired up with one of the new Suzuki For strokes, and you would have an awesome river Bay boat, something that could also stack a lot of crab pots on!!! We got a lot of Jimmies in this river!

Pictured is myself and the Hampton Public Piers Dockmaster Gary Gatlin standing beside the Suzuki section of the show. We had just enough room to squeeze in our Hampton Suzuki Show boat. Other than dropping my cell phone in the Cruizair condensation pan, the day was really great with a lot of interesting vendors. Today there is also a lot of great entertainment going on including some roaming singing Pirates. So bring the kids!!! Speaking of kids, now it is time to go fetch one of mine from Ferrum College. Thanks Gary for putting on such a great show and geting us in on the last minute, and we look forward to next years event.
